Labor day weekend, Carol's remembrance

Last weekend, my parents and the Headrick family came up for my Aunt Carol's funeral that was held on Monday in Springville.  It was a great weekend of remembrance of Aunt Carol and it was nice to see family.  We know we will see her again and it was great to hear the many stories of her life.  She was a dedicated mom, teacher, facilitator and aunt.  She will be greatly missed, and we are happy to know that this life is just the beginning, not the end.

My parents got to stay with us, which was a real treat, especially for Clarky man.  Since we have moved, he has asked for three things every day... grandma, grandpa, and Disneyland.  We were happy to give him the opportunity to see at least one set of grandparents! Every morning he would wake up, go into the front room and play with grandpa and his Ipad.  David and I got to sleep in everyday, which was completely amazing and a little weird that we were replaced so quickly...  Soon after that, Clark realized his cousins were in town too, and when they got together, lots of playing commenced.  He had a few meltdowns in the car on the way to places, because he wanted to make sure that we were all going to the same place.  He was so happy to be chased and picked up by Landrie, Brynlie and Callie.  Unfortunately, we didn't get any pics, the weekend was quite packed and I just didn't really find the time to take any, plus I wanted to talk with my cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents too.  The only picture I got was of Clark eating a Krispy Kreme doughnut that grandma and grandpa had left for him...  I should add Krispy Kreme was the official donut sponsor of the weekend...
I should add that I made him take this picture, and here is his half cheesy smile, silly boy... And yes, we don't have a kitchen table, we are using a towel thank you very much!
