Catching up... Christmas time

I can't believe I've neglecting our family journal for a month and a half!  Here is the condensed version of what has been going on...

For Christmas vacation we went to both Southern and Northern California.  We were lucky to celebrate "Christmas day" with both families, because my mother-in-law had to work on Christmas, so we declared the day before our Sheffield family Christmas.  It was absolutely wonderful.  We got to see the magic of Christmas unfold with both families because on Christmas day we drove up to Northern California as well.  I am not sure if that will ever happen again.
Here are some pics of our vacation...

San Diego...
Grandma Sandy and Clark went on a date to Disneyland!
We spent some time on the beach.
We watched BYU play in the Poinsettia Bowl and KILL SDSU
We went to see the temple lights!
We also did all of the wonderful family traditions in the Sheffield family. The night before Christmas we played out the nativity and we made graham cracker houses (my fave was my bro in law's rendition of the Oakland Temple).  So much fun!

Vacaville...

We took all the kiddies to the Jelly Belly Factory, and ate Jelly Belly shaped hamburgers!
Grandma Rhonda read President Monson's Christmas Train story and all the grandkids made a part of the Clark family train out of Rice Krispies.

We went to Muir Woods for the day (can you see Clark's face? Dave got an awesome pic! & Cayson hanging from a tree...)
We ended our stay by going to Sausalito and seeing the Golden Gate.
We also got to see our extended Clark family at our annual Christmas party and we received my favorite gift of the year, a jewelry tree made of my late grandmothers jewelry.  One of the other highlights was our annual "talent show" for the grandkids.  Clark and his cousin Ainsley did a trampoline routine (with Clark laying down and Ainsley jumping over him).  There was a lot of talent from my older nieces and nephews as well (dart throwing, dance routines to Taylor Swift, and even a ballroom dance number!).
