Day of Firsts...

Yesterday Clark had a very BIG day.  He had his first day of preschool (home style).  He absolutely loved it.  They talked about recipes and made pumpkin chocolate chip muffins.  There are two other girls in the class, and soon to be (hopefully) another little boy.  He loves having a backpack and chose this outfit specifically for preschool.
He also had his first practice and soccer game.   He is on team #5 and loves that he has his own soccer ball. Most of the kids cried during the game, but Clark didn't. A lot of the time, the kids just stood there. I finally looked at Clark and yelled, "come get the ball and score in the net over there. " He was very obedient and did what he was told, twice!  I was so proud! After that, he understood what to do, and because there was a lot of crying, I would tell him to throw in or pass to other kids so they could score.  It was a pretty funny adventure and I'm worried for when his team goes up against the 4 year olds, but he had lots of fun.  I was ecstatic at how well he controlled the ball, maybe we have a future Beckham!  Sorry I'm just a proud mama.  David couldn't stop laughing at me.   I'm not sure how many of Clark's games Dave will be able to see, so  I'm glad he got to see Clark do so well!
Right before he scored his first goal

During practice, I'm just so excited! :)
