I woke up on the 4th of July to breakfast in bed, yummy berries and buttermilk syrup. It was a great way to start a birthday, I must say. Then David took Clark to the pool while I got to have some "alone time" while Cayson was asleep. During the afternoon, we decided to head over to Pflugerville for the Pfirecracker Pfestival. We only stayed for about an hour, but we were there long enough to do the important stuff; such as getting balloon animals(Clark got a sword and holster), sticking our feet into Lake Pflugerville, and listening to live music. In the evening, we headed into downtown Austin to listen to the Austin Symphony and watch the fireworks over Lady Bird Lake. They lasted for about a half hour and the music corresponded with the fireworks. It was the best fireworks show I'd ever seen! Clark kept saying he was going to get scared, but ended up asking for more when they were over. Cayson watched as well. He never cried, he just looked at the sky in awe! All in all, it was a great 4th of July and a great birthday! None of these pics show Cayson and I, we were there I promise.

Love all the updates you have been posting! I must say I'm so impressed ... how do you find the time to blog with two kids?! I have been so bad at it but I'm determined to start blogging again once we move out of Utah. We're probably going to move August 1st. Sounds like you guys are having a blast in Austin!
I love your glow stick picture! And your kiddos are just too cute for words! Aaron and I have been thinking a lot about living in Texas as a place to settle down one day. Your posts make me think about it more and more!
