Welcome to Austin
We made it to Austin on the 15th. We were all happy to be done with our 23 hour road trip! Here are some of our adventures the first week... We went to the Austin Nature & Science center, Lady Bird Lake,Barton Springs Pool in Zilker park & explored University of Texas. We happened to go during commencement and found out there would be fireworks later that night. We had a perfect view off of our 9th story balcony!

I'm glad you guys had a week to explore together before David had to start work. Looks like fun. We miss you guys. I was just thinking this morning that we should call you guys to see if you wanted to go to Trafalga with us and then remembered you guys are gone. Bummer. =(
So glad that you are liking it there so far. It feels like you are so far away though (even though it really doesn't matter if it is 11 or 22 hours away!). We need to see lots of pictures and updates on your blog now to see all of your adventures!!
