Since this is our family journal, I thought I'd catch us up a bit. It has been 18 days since David left back for school in Utah, while we stay here in SoCal until I have the baby. We have been skyping every night and have found some fun ways to get Clark to actually want to stay by the computer (I spy, dance parties, toy show & tell, reading books, etc.). It has been very interesting since we hadn't been away from each other for this long since we got married. I don't really know how people in the military do it. Its super hard. We hope to not do this ever again! While being in SoCal, Clark has been going on walks with Charlie, we've been going on weekly trips to the library, catching preschool storytime and walking to the park when I feel up to it. Its been so different than usual life because we have slowed down a lot, but its good, because I don't feel up to much activity lately!
This pregnancy has been completely different than the first, however, I have been super lucky & blessed to be healthy and as the check ups say, to have a healthy baby inside. Early on I was diagnosed with chronic migraines, which have ceased for about the last 2 months (yay!). Morning sickness was early on in the pregnancy, but I'm happy to say that symptom let up when I was about 4 months prego (yay again!). I have been having sciatic nerve problems this time around, which makes it hard to walk somedays, but it isn't too annoying either. The newest prego symptom that has occured is ligament problems because my body is "loosening" up. This is not something I enjoy, nor do I ever wish to have again. Unfortunately, I've been told I will have it for a while (even after if I'm not careful) and with every pregnancy I have from now on. With that said, everything else has been really great! I have a big round belly, but my back is feeling okay. The baby is moving like crazy and has been since being 4 months along, which is cool. I have been able to sleep okay, with the occasional 3 year old coming to visit in the middle of the night (not prego related, just mommy related). So the update is that despite some annoying symptoms, everything is going well. I have an induction set the 17th of February, though its not likely I will make it to that appointment. If I do though, David will be able to be here, so part of me is hoping this baby will take his time coming! I'm not sure if everyone else wants that, because I'm a moody little lady with no patience these days, but hopefully after the baby comes, I'll be back to my "less emotional" self!

Being away from your husband is really hard. But being with family is always helpful. I am glad your are sleeping well though because that is a big deal.
The ironic part is that you are missing the warmest winter I think Utah has ever seen ;)
