Christmas in Vacaville

This year we spent our Christmas vacation in Vacaville.  Unfortunately, half the time Clark was sick, but still managed to have a great time with his cousins and grandma & grandpa.  We spent the week going to Bounce houses, the Jelly Belly factory, the park, walking Candy Cane Lane, and doing other Christmas festivities.  We even had the chance to go to my old ward's Christmas party, where Santa made an appearance.  It was a great week of fun and activities for the whole family.  I got to participate in Secret Santa opportunities that my sister was in charge of which kept me busy for the first half of the week.   Its fun to see how the community helps each other out and to see where all the donated toys go.  We worked with the CHP (California Highway Patrol) this year and I was amazed at how generous people are.  It put me in the right mood for the season to know that 11 families on Christmas morning would actually have a Christmas!
