Our weekend

This past weekend we traveled to Palm Springs (Indio) to see the Risenmay family. On Saturday, we headed off to Walker's baseball game and mid day, my parents arrived.  For dinner, we had kabobs and they were sooo yummy!  I'm a Bzz Agent (so I get to try things for free) and I brought a bunch of marinades for the family to try out.  It was fun to taste test and take pics (a requirement for the free stuff I get! :) ).  On Sunday, we went to church, where my brother in law Chris, was called to be Bishop of the ward.  We were very excited to take part in the event.  Both Roxanne and Chris gave their testimonies and it was fun to hear of their faith and to feel the spirit.  After church we headed home and had a great family dinner.  Clark enjoyed being with his cousins so much, I honestly didn't see him very much at all because he was too busy socializing! He also fell in love with the Risenmay's trampoline.  He loved to jump but wasn't so fond of getting shocked.  I often heard him say, " Mommy, no shock and Clarky bouncy like Tigger!"  When it was time to leave, there was a huge meltdown, Clark wasn't ready to go quite yet...  Unfortunately, the weekend felt short, just because we were having too much fun and I got to relax (I can never get enough!), but it was still very fun for our family!
