8 more days...and updates

David and I are awaiting anxiously for a letter from BYU.  They said the last day to know is the 15th and we are going crazy!  Each day I walk over to the mailbox hoping for it to be there.  Obviously, we are hoping David gets in, and if not, we both know its not the end of the world, but it is the start of our journey looking at other colleges, which is just crazy to think about! Maybe today will be the day... I sure hope so!

As for other news, we are sick here in the Sheffield household.  David has yet to get it, and hopefully he doesn't.  Clark has had a cough, fever and runny nose for the past few days, and what do you know, I now have a cough and stuffed nose.  Sheesh, I thought the winter cold/flu was supposed to be over??  Since Clark has been sick, we have been putting him on a big boy bed (its easier to console him because I don't have to bend over a packnplay in the middle of the night or any other time for that matter!).  I'm not sure if I'm ready for this, and I'm not sure if he is ready, usually I go in and he has rolled onto the floor!  Hopefully he gets the hang of it, so we can officially call him a toddler with a toddler bed! :)

As for everything else, life is going well.  We are trying to save money as well as enjoy each others company.  Clark is starting to have strong likes/dislikes now when it comes to what we do, which has been really fun.  We have movie nights which he loves, and we have even started to play simple games with him (I spy, card games, etc.).  Every day I get sad because he isn't a baby anymore...he helps with chores, he cooks with me and he is starting to get better and better at sports.  His favorite color is pink nowadays and he wakes up in the morning asking to play with friends, Etan (Ethan) and Ego (Diego).  I can't believe how grown up he is!

Well that's our little update.  Hopefully soon we'll get a letter and I'll update again! :)  Oh and yes, Clark still likes the garbage man...
