Catching up...

These past few weeks feel like they have been a blur.  This past week, my friend Jessie came down for a few days and stayed with us.  It was her first time seeing Clark and he enjoyed her company. She read him books and instantly became his friend! We tried to do everything "San Diegoish."  Which meant we went to the beach, VG's donuts (a trendy place here) and Ricos (my fave mexican place).  Of course we watched Nacho Libre because she had never seen it and we wanted to make sure she got to see that important film about Mexican history. Unfortunately, no pics of her and I, which was stupid, but here is one of Clark entertaining himself so Jess and I could talk.

Also, David and I received new callings. He is now the Facilities Assistant, which means he has to lock up the church and make sure its clean (now we have to be at church even longer!).  I am the new Sunbeam (3 year old) teacher.  I taught this last Sunday and thought it went well.  There was only a minimal amount of crying, but its consistent every week which means it was a positive experience!  I'm excited to be in Primary because I love singing/sharing time and my kids are ridiculously cute!

As of late, I am also starting to try to get in touch with my "crafty" side.  My mom in law taught me how to crochet, I'll let you see the finished product when I am done! David has been swimming with Clark a lot and has been learning about his new baby (computers) more and more.  We hope he'll be ready for his Masters in a year!  We are trying to catch up with our "internet" lives.  Hopefully I'll be a bit more diligent on this blog!

P.S. This last picture just made Dave and I laugh.  Notice that both Pooh and Clark have the same positioning, they both were very tired and ended up sleeping like that! :)
