David and I decided to celebrate Balentine's (I know its spelled wrong) day a little early. My mom in law says that we celebrate everything early, which is pretty much true, but this time there was a reason! My mom was coming into Long Beach that day and we knew half the day would be spent driving there and the other half at church, so we NEEDED to do it earlier. Do you like how I am rationalizing it? I hope so.
Anywho, a couple days earlier, we decided to go to Ruby's on the pier in Oceanside and get yummy shakes. It was weird to be in a restaurant that rocked with the waves, but it didn't stop us from guzzling the shakes. Then the next day, David came home to a clue on the door. He had to go on a scavenger hunt for his present. Because Clark was asleep I couldn't go with him, so he started on his journey. About 15 minutes later, I was getting worried. I went outside to see David in the pouring rain trying to figure out his clue. Of course, I helped him a little. The hunt ended at our new dryer. It had lots of fun goodies in it including a Maximum PC magazine subscription, candy, bubbly, rose petals, a note from me and other random things. I think he really liked it. Do you want to know what he got me? Well... an MP3 player! I was so excited! I have been rocking out almost every night and am loving every minute of it! :)
For Valentine's day Clark got a valentine too! He got Elmo stickers from his Auntie and yummy chocolates from mommy and daddy! He LOVED his chocolates and stickers! He pointed to each Elmo, and even tried to eat the sticker sheet a couple of times.
