We got back from Northern California on the 27th. We were happy to come home to warm weather, our big bed, and Clark in his own room! I have to say I was a little sad though, I would have liked to stay up in Vacaville for a little while longer, but David had to be back for work and we wanted to see Grandma Pike, my BF Jessica, and the Lee family. On Monday, while David was at work, Clark and I went to the beach with the Lee family and Aunt Kara. We enjoyed a quick badminton game until Clark ate his weight in sand and the other kids were tackling each other, needless to say, we will have to have a rematch! On Tuesday, we went up to the mission home in Riverside to visit with the Reeves and family. It was quite a quick trip but we got to see many people we hadn't seen in a year! On Wednesday, we spent the night with Grandma & Grandpa Sheffield and Great Grandma Pike. We enjoyed good food and games! On Friday we also got to see Ashley Sheffield and her husband, we were so lucky to see so much family this season!
On Thursday, New Year's Eve, we also spent most of it at the Sheffield house, until about 9 oclock (I figure Clark could stay up that late, it is a holiday and all!) and then went home. I was bummed because we didn't have any plans, but as soon as we got home, David started to set up a tent in the living room and get out some goodies. He put in the movie "Muppet Treasure Island" and we watched that to celebrate the new year! It was actually really fun! Here is a picture of our happenings...
The next day, I went to the store to get some "holiday deals" which turned out to be great! We got some presents for next year as well as a Gingerbread kit. We wanted Clark to enjoy the New Year too, so we let him go to town on it. Here are some pictures of our fun time!

Awww what a fun filled December! I think your wedding cupcakes are such a cool idea. Funny story is we were down in Southern Cali while you guys were up here. :P Clark is such a cutie. Love the pic of him and David in the crib...those are priceless moments.
Looks like fun. I'm super sad we didnn't get to see you. I am excited to hear you are moving to Utah! Why are you moving and when and of course to what part? You can hang out with Amanda and I. I'm sad you won't be in San Diego next year becuase Joe has a regular season game there next season. Thanks for the info about the acne did you ever find anything that helped it? What did you end up majoring in? Maybe I'll major in that!
