Attitude of Gratitude Part 2

I am also very grateful for my family. First, my parents, I realize each and every day something new that they have taught me, many times without me even knowing it! They were great examples to me, not only as parents, but as servants of the Lord. Today my father was released from the Stake Presidency, which he had been a part of for 19 years. Every day he was serving the Lord and he never once complained about the meetings, the interviews and the lack of time spent at home. He juggled his duties beautifully, even if he had to come to my sporting events in church attire, he still came. My mother has also been engaged in many causes and been a friend to everyone. I feel like her example has helped me be the mom I am today, even if I worry about all the little things! I still call my mom to ask random questions, I know she will always be there to help! She has taught me most of the life skills I possess, one of which, is putting her children and grandchildren first, even if it is an inconvenience. My parents always taught me that even if something feels like its too hard, it can be conquered, through small and simple things, great things are brought to pass! Now on to my siblings, each and every one have always been there to help me when I'm ever in need. Coupons, baby stuff, toys, etc... we have always had each others back and never really fought (well besides the time Rocky kicked me out of the room for something random, but that passed in a few hours!). We all have very different relationships with each other, but they all work well together! I hear from one of my siblings every week, which makes life even more enjoyable! I was very blessed to have peace in our house growing up, which not only stems from my siblings, but from my parents also. Now about my in-laws, I don't really understand how people DO NOT get along with their in-laws, because I have never had that problem! I guess I'm lucky because I enjoy going to their house and hearing about what is going on in their lives. Sometimes I want to go over there even when David isn't home! My father-in-law always is a joker and whenever I have a lesson or talk to give, he's the first to send me an email with LDS links. I don't know what I would do without my weekly tease session with him! As for my mother-in-law, she is fun to talk to, selfless at all times and the yummiest cook! She is gracious enough to feed us WHENEVER we want, not to mention making a second "non allergy" food for me! I'm not going to lie, just thinking about her desserts makes me gain 5 pounds! I enjoy her company and she is my second mom, which is quite convenient for me! My younger sister-in-laws keep me young and in the know! I get to hear about whats going on in high school and I love every minute of it! They also let me know what is in style and what is nerdy, which I need so much! They are sweet, caring and beautiful inside and out! My older sister and brother in laws help me to find the best deals on things as well as keep me in the know on the latest perfumes and the latest sports talk. I am very blessed to have such great in-laws!
Stay tuned to see whats next tomorrow!
This is quite an old pic, I wasn't even married yet but its all I could find on this computer!

Aaahhhh....thank you, Rolene. We have been very blessed to have you join our family. David is a lucky man to have you. We love having you guys come over to visit often and hope that you can always live close by (even though I realize that may not happen). You are a wonderful wife and mother. We love you.
