Grandpa's bday, Famous Dave's and Let Them Eat Cake!

This last weekend was really a productive one. We finally got to hang out with friends, who we haven't seen for a few weeks and eat at the yummy Famous Dave's. Clark loves to go there and take the best naps in the very LOUD dining area!! It was good to catch up with Christian and Juanita. Sunday we celebrated Robert Sheffield's (otherwise known as dad and grandpa) birthday. We got to visit with the Santore, Platt and Findlay families. Clark really took to Mamie and they became great friends! On Tuesday, I had my cake class and we worked on borders. The teacher actually complimented me! I was pretty proud! Here is a pic of the cake I made, Triple Chocolate Fudge with Coconut Pecan filling, David's coworkers seemed to have liked it.
Now about Clark, he actually smiles now! I have been trying to take action pics of it, but it hasn't worked, so hopefully I will be more succesful this week. Well thats about it, sorry this isn't a thrilling post, however, we've been busy! Until next time...
