For part of our vacation, we took a trip up to Othello, Washington, where my mother is from. It is a small farming town where most of my cousins live. We went there to see Grandma and Grandpa Walker's new house and to visit the family before going to the reunion at Priest Lake. While we were there, David got to meet all of the family he hadn't met, we got to play with my uncle's horses, and we learned about Grandpa's gravel business. He took us out to see one of his loaders that can hold 13-14 tons a scoop. He also let David and Mark (our bro in law) drive while we were on the back. Needless to say, it was scary. I feared for my life when David dropped the scooper (I don't know the correct terminology) and all of us on the loader held on for dear life! Here are some pics of the loader, the thing is freakin huge! Here is a pic of David after the "wild ride."

I know this picture is blurry, but I couldn't resist, doesn't this look very French Vogue? Who wouldn't want to strike a pose in front of this good lookin piece of machinery! Thats David and neice Callie. Middle picture-Brynlie and Callie
